Project Goals

This work focused on refining and improving existing dashboard flows while maintaining full alignment with Alaris’ current visual and functional style. My aim was to enhance the experience with small but meaningful improvements across components and layouts.

✦ Improve seller dashboard clarity and UX flow

✦ Adjust component spacing and hierarchy for better readability

✦ Tweak visual styling to align with evolving design language

✦ Ensure design handoff stays consistent with existing system

✦ Help product team explore scalable layout solutions

Challenges

Alaris already had an established design direction, so the challenge was to improve usability without introducing inconsistency. Small design updates needed to feel invisible — intuitive yet seamless.

✦ Respecting the strict visual language while solving UX problems

✦ Updating layouts without triggering rework in dev

✦ Making visual tweaks without disrupting team workflow

✦ Ensuring cross-page consistency across similar UI modules

Solution

I approached this with a design-minimalist mindset — refining dashboards using subtle spacing, color, and layout updates. Each revision was tested against the original system to ensure harmony while still improving clarity and flow.

✦ Introduced improved spacing logic across dashboard sections

✦ Refactored component states for better hierarchy and user understanding

✦ Documented all visual tweaks for smooth dev handoff

✦ Helped product team visualize new UI concepts without full redesign

Design Strategy

Since the project was grounded in an existing product, my strategy was to act as a bridge between the evolving UX needs and the live system’s constraints — delivering practical improvements that elevated usability without causing visual or technical debt.
